All about Ell..at age 2

At 2 year dr. check up-24 lbs and 34 and 3/4 inches

She likes books but only if you are reading solo. Every night Zac and I take turns reading to the kids before bed. She starts off on the couch with one of us and Noah but soon after she grabs a book and wanders off to find the other parent to read to just her. If we are reading to just her and Noah comes up she takes the book away.

She blinks the articles of faith we are memorizing every night.

She loves Elmo and does a silly dance whenever he comes on. She however is scared of Murry...they are both red and furry puppets so not sure about that! If he comes on she puts both hands on her cheeks and comes running over crying.

Doesn't like many fruits of vegetables. Does love italian food.

She has become a little bit of a bully. With some of the younger kids she will put her face nose to nose with them and lean forward forcing them backwards.

Still despises nursery

Is more interested in electronic things than Noah is/was.

Is always easy to put down for a nap or bed. Never fights it.

She is not easily consoled when she gets angry...which seems to be quite often!:)

Gives most of her hugs and kisses to dad. If I ask for them she usually won't or she will lean her cheek in so I can kiss her.

Says all animal sounds, cow, doggy, mama, dada, riley, rocky, bubbles, go, elmo, treat, wait(weet), again(geen), book, binky, milk (mek), thank you (gak goo) here you go (gee go), please (peeze), duck, cat, juice, and will repeat most anything we ask her to but doesn't incorporate them into her vocab.

naps about 1.5 hours and sleeps about 11.5 at night.

won't let me touch her hair...hope thats a phase!

does this funny sideways look with her eyes just because it makes us laugh.

Wants to be carried and held all the time at home.....but run across a parking lot it public.

Loves her binky and despises us for only letting her sleep with it.

If she wakes up before 7 ( which she does often ) she comes in our bed and falls back asleep...sometimes rubbing daddy's back or bald head.

She is lots of fun and lots of love!
