Our little Eliza McKay is 3! How crazy is that!

We started the new tradition of the birthday wall with pictures of the beloved birthday girl on the day of.  Noah helped put them all up while she was still sleeping.

I took Ellie to her 3 year old check up a few days later.  She was 37 inches and in the 50th percentile.  She was also 27 lbs and in the 5 percentile.  She had only gained 3 pounds since her 2 year old visit. She is a tiny little thing but the girl likes food!

She is a such a fun and sweet addition to our family.  Her very most favorite thing to do is help me in the kitchen.  If she sees me in there she will drop everything to come "hep mama."  She always has to sit on the counter and be an active partcipant....and of course taster.

She is very opinionated about what she wears and quite regularly leaves the house in mismatched clothing and scraggly hair despite all the adorable outfits she owns!  She also changes those clothes multiple times throughout the day but of course at bedtime "needs help" with jammies.

Ellie loves her brother to pieces.  She often sacrifices the thing she has to help Noah feel happy. She is also concerned about here he is and eager to share the events of her day with him.

Her sentences have taken off and she has become quite the talker.  We love seeing her mature in this way and able to communicate so well.

She loves babies and is so excited to become a big sister!
