Parent/teacher conference

I met with Noah's pre-school teacher for his first conference. Miss Maureen had wonderful things to say about our little boy. Before school started they had an evaluation day and Miss Maureen went over the results with us. Noah was kindergarten ready in 2 of the 4 categories before school even started. He excelled in print knowledge and oral language/vocabulary. He was almost kindergarten ready in phonological awareness and mathematics. She told me that he is a very deep thinker and really processes and analyzes all they teach. She said she kept wanting to say the word brilliant. She is amazed at the things he says and comes up with. I asked how is behavior was. She said he was a delight. All the kids love him. At times she can seem him start to get upset and lead to disruption but that it is not every day and never anything she feels she needs to call home about. He is just a fun, active four year old boy. I get concerned sometimes because he will be so young for his class but am relieved he is doing so well. Way to go Noah, keep it up!
