mom moment

The other day my friends husband was stopping by after work to pick up a toy his son left at my house. We made the exchange and I carried on with what I was doing. I ran to the bathroom and saw my reflection and re-visited the moment he came to the door. I had some veggie tales music on and the kids were running around the couch in a huge circle screaming. I was making home made chicken bites and had my hands covered with egg and flour so I handed him the toy car with by wrists. My hair was a frazzeled mess and I had about 25 Halloween stickers on my shirt that the kids had put there. It was such a funny "yup, I'm totally a mom" moment.
