The Gaylord Palms is that fancy hotel in Orlando that Zac was supposed to have his big conference that got canceled. They were so kind though and offered us free tickets to a Christmas display called ICE. It is a section closed off and cooled to 9 degrees to maintain the ice sculptures and ice slide.

Geared up and ready for the cold. We warned the kids that it was going to be really cold. Noah kept saying he would not be cold.
About five seconds into the event he was crying and complaining about how cold it was and he wanted to leave...Ellie just wandered around with a very concerned look on her face.

We were trying to take a family picture in front of the ice nativity but by then we had been in the cold a full 10 minutes and the kids were over it. So glad we didn't pay!
We were a little frustrated because the kids were running around like crazies at the hotel and not listening very well. We left to get dinner with plans to head to sea world. By then it was kind of late and we were burnt out so we thought we would just take the kids by the Orlando temple. We had a few tender moments walking around the temple and talking about the spirit we feel there. We were ready to head home but wanted to get the kids in their pjs. We thought we would go to the church across the street and see if there was an activity we could get into the building and change them in the bathroom. When we got there it was beautifully lit up and they were hosting a festival of nativity's. We walked around the gym and saw beautiful nativities from all over the world. We then ventured to the primary room where they had tons of crafts for the kids to do. Our kids were so happy enjoying the crafts and the entire mood of our evening was different. The evening ended with a live nativity in front of the building. Such a better evening then sea world.
