summer beach vacation

Our summer beach trip didn't go quite as planned.  After no vacation last summer due to having a baby we were all really looking forward to this trip.  When we went to the gulf side 2 years ago it was great because the water is really calm and super shallow.  It was great for young kids however we are now with older kids and Noah was a little underwhelmed by there being no waves.  The whole getting sandy and having to clean up routine didn't fly.  We still managed to have some fun in the sun (or at least capture some pictures that gave that image:)

 Our first day there this guy showed us how to search for sand dollars and star fish (or sea stars as Noah called them.) That was fun until we realized there were literally hundreds of them out there and it lost its luster.
