5 months

Our Ellie is now five months old. She has entered the phase of serious attachment to me. She wants to be held by me 24/7. Noah never went through any type pf attachment so this is new to us. It has me hoping that maybe she will be my snuggler since there is none of that coming from Noah. She can't even be sitting somewhere next to me, it has to be held by me. We spend a lot of time in the bjorn for this reason. She is also totally in love with her toes. She will chew on them or play with them endlessly.

(That is her thumb in the picture not a sixth toe!)

My mom says she has very expressive toes that communicate her feelings which is kind of funny to watch. If she is happy they perk out straight, mad they curl up. She is doing better with her rice cereal and seems to enjoy sitting in the bumbo for it. Her sleeping is still kind of sporadic. She struggles some because some days we are running Noah around to pre-school and she gets a cat nap in and then our day is kind of off. She turns in for the night usually by 7:30 and sleeps until 7-7:30. She does wake up several times in between that which is getting a little old but she'll figure it out. Noah is still her favorite person and when she is hanging in the bjorn he will run up and do silly moves and she cracks up. I think a baby laugh truly is the greatest sound ever. She rolled from back to front on August 20th so she can do a complete roll now. She still plays it lazy though and stays on her back mostly. We are finding she has some sensitive skin issues and are doing our best to resolve that. It is sad when your sweet baby's complexion doesn't match up with teh sweet person she is. She also has this funny hair line, kind of like a mohawk where it is all in the middle. It makes her look a little like a boy which is funny because Noah always looked like a girl with his massive amounts of hair at this age. We love her so much and can't imagine her not in our family even though five short months ago we didn't know her little personality.
