Mothers day was eventful and busy around here. Zac's parents came last minute for the weekend so that Zac's dad could set him apart as a High Priest. Zac was also called to be on the High Council with responsibilities around auditing, prisons, seminary and primary. Not gonna lie there were tears shed by Brodricks and the youth that Zac would not be teaching seminary anymore. After four years of commitment and love of teaching the youth it is time for Zac to move on and serve somewhere else....he will be great! Now I have to adjust to Sunday meetings again.
Ellie loves her some books
Noah came out dressed for church with just a vest on and no shirt and a velvet jacket. He was so upset that we were insisting on him wearing a shirt. The compromise came when Zac and Noah figured out they had similar ties and jackets and could dress alike!
We had a nice time with everyone. Took Zacs parents out for some yummy seafood and the kids highlight is always breakfast at McDonald's! For mothers day Zac created a new book of all my updated blogs that I love and treasure. Noah gave me a picture that he drew of me looking mad...hmm. He also wrote some cute things and gave me a rock person he painted. Sure love being a mom to such amazing kids!
Thanks for coming out Grammie and Pops!
Noah wrote some things for me in church and school. Highlights include: If my mom were a superhero her name would be elastic girl. The best thing my mom cooks is noodles. My mom is best at driving. My mom is 13. When I am at school my mom goes to gymnastics with Ellie. My mom looks prettiest when she is going to church. When I am extra good my mom lets me watch 3 shows. The best thing about my mom is she loves me.
I am pretty blessed with great kids....and husband.
