Today we are supposed to post where our names came from and the stories behind them. Here's the run down on my family.
Zachary=Remembrance of the Lord Scott=Painted Warrior
Vanessa=Butterfly Anne=Grace, favor
Noah= Rest, Peace Zachary=Remembrance of the Lord
My sister had a friend who was named Vanessa. My parents simply liked the name so used it for me! My middle name, Anne comes from an Aunt that I don't really know!:)
My husband's name has a little bit of a cuter story to it. His dad was watching a football award being presented to Zachary Scott. In his acceptance speech this player said he would first like to thank his Heavenly Father for his many blessings. Zac's dad was then sold on the name!
My son's name, Noah was just one that we had talked about since we were first married. We entered the hospital with a few names expecting to have one seem to fit when he was born. After he was born he really didn't strike us as any specific name so we went with Noah Zachary (had to give his dad some props!) as it was the first one we had agreed upon. While my family was visiting in the hospital we decided on his name. After they left, my mom called to tell me that there was a double rainbow on their way home from the hospital! Good thing we decided on Noah for our little miracle baby!
