Noah officially turned 18 months last week. This is probably a more monumental day than his first birthday. Why might you ask? Because he is officially in nursery! YEAH!!!Never has church been so peaceful and nourishing! He did great on his first day and seemed totally fine without us around. He has mastered the art of hitting and throwing toys though so we are working on that. It was also just these past 2 Sundays that he made it through about 45 minutes of sacrament. There just may be hope for this little guy! We took him to his 18 month appointment and the nurse made us remeasure him because he grew 2 inches in the past 3 months! He is 34 inches long (90th percentile) and 25 pounds (35th percentile) Looks like we've got a lean one! He is saying more words now and is trying to repeat us a lot more often. His vocab right now includes car, store, bye bye, hi, quack, tweet, moo, ba,dog, cheese, mama, dada, more, one, two, three, please, shoe, go, ball, and my personal favorite aww man. When eating he is at least willing to try more things but still remains pretty picky. He loves to point out his body parts and is very free with handing out applause and high fives. He gives us kisses too and is no respecter of persons. If I get a kiss he runs to daddy to make sure he gets one too. In fact, today he was on the phone with daddy and all of a sudden he ran over to me and gave me a kiss...just as daddy had instructed him to do on the phone, what a sweetie. Zac and I have decided to start fostering the time out method for discipline and used it twice which seemed to go ok, we'll see how consistent we can be. For the past 2 months he has napped in his stroller and it looks like that will continue. He is way too resilient to do it in the crib and just screams and cries. Overall though he seems more content and happy and better able to cope with things. He continues to be my little organizer and lines items up all over the place (must be the accountant in him.) He is our joy and we are so blessed to have him. Happy half birthday Noah!

awww! it must be so wonderful to be parents! you guys are so wonderful!! happy 1/2 birthday to noah! =)
YEAH for nursery!!! Celo starts this week, too. I'm really really scared for the nursery leaders. He'll be fine with us leaving him, but the second they try to get him to do something he doesn't want to do, watch out! I took him for a little while last week, and that's exactly what happened. They said it was lesson time, and he started doing his lovely screech that he does. Wonderful.
Off topic, any idea what happened to Tuesday Tell All? Did they give notice that they were closing the blog?
One more thing. I'm totally going to take you up on practicing photography with you guys! We need to do that playdate we keep talking about soon!
