Husband Brag

So this is just a brag post about my wonderful husband. He teaches seminary to the youth in our ward at church. This means he wakes up at 5:20 Monday through Friday to teach 15-20 high school students the scriptures. This also means he spends time every night preparing lessons for the next day. He even gets every other Friday off from work and still has to wake to teach those days. What is so phenomenal about it is that he LOVES it and the youth LOVE him. Many of the youth have given testimonies during church about what a great experience seminary is.....remember this is 6:00 every morning. Last year when school ended the kids kept telling me they wished they could have seminary through out the summer.....remember 6:00 every morning. I have parents approach me and say they hear what an amazing teacher Zac is. One told me her oldest was only 10 but she hoped he would be around for him to teach when he turned 14. Zac is passionate about the gospel and loves to share it with others, especially the young future of our ward. He comes up with some great visuals and activities to reinforce the principles he is teaching. He has established friendships with kids and checks up on them if their attendance is lagging, they had a surgery, big assignments due, whatever it may be he is always mindful. He sends out weekly emails to the parents letting them know where they are studying so they can reinforce the things being taught. I love him for all these reasons. He truly magnifies his calling and is a wonderful example to me and many others.
