Tropical Storm Fay

It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you are forced to stay in your house. Zac woke up for work this morning and drove 30 minutes into work. The empty car lot clued him in that they had called off work today so we could brave Fay at home. He returned and we set to work doing some small home tasks that we just never seem to get to. We rearranged Noah's bedroom so now it seems more spacious. We hung some pictures, did some cleaning and burned home video to dvds (which we have found takes forever!) It's raining pretty good right now and the winds are blowing. We planned a family potluck but decided to all stay tucked in our little homes. However, if there is a power outage we may have family here if our generator kicks in. Zac is doing some schoolwork for his MBA and I am....well, blogging. It's been a good day and we have been blessed with safety. Hopefully this is as bad as it will get. I should probably get our 96 hour kits together. Today is a good motivator.
