Zac is our ward missionary leader and they had a big competition with the youth for missionary work. For one month the boys vs. girls took the challenge. First, Zac and the Elders passed out Books of Mormon and a marking guide. They set up a point system for missionary work like 10 points for giving a Book of Mormon, 15 points for bringing a friend to Church/activity, 20 points for having a friend meet with the missionaries etc. Every Sunday they went into their classes and had them report on their progress. When the month came to an end a big breakfast was held. The loosing team had to clean up and received whipped cream in the face. Can you tell from the pics who won? The youth actually did a lot of missionary work and it was neat to hear all that they accomplished reported at the breakfast. They are great examples to me. It was a fun activity and sure to become an annual event.
