FENCE

These pictures are out of order and you should view from bottom to top but oh well. WE HAVE A FENCE! We do not have much of a yard at all so Noah and I spend a ton of time out on the porch. Well, Noah loves to be outside but he is still a bolt and run kind of kid so we decided it was time to fence what yard we have in. After getting several quites and submitting to our HOA for approval Zac finally set to work. He decided it was a project he could do and save us a few hundred bucks. We greatly underestimated the time it would take and made a few errors in the process but now we know. Zac did a lot of work and our good friend Paul Brooker came over a few hours two Saturdays in a row and helped. Then my brother-in-law helped several weekends and then on his Wednesday off of work came and completed the whole thing and surprised Zac. His reaction was pretty cute when I asked him to go get some cilantro from the garden for dinner. He jumped back and said over and over "who did this? who did this?" He was pretty emotionally touched and it was nice to know we had time to do other things now that the fence was done. I am very proud of all their hard work and appreciate them doing this to help me keep my little one entertained. He sure loves the freedom and has already tried to climb over it!Our plan is to get a play set but considering it is already so blasted hot we will postpone until fall since those things take forever to put together too. We will just do sprinklers and pools for fun in the sun!
Kicking the ball in our yard!

The neighborhood lawn maintenance won't like us much when they try to get to those bushes but oh well.

Just some of our cilantro....nobody we know better pay for that stuff because we have a ton!

It really was quite the process and our recommendation is to pay the extra money and enjoy the time you save.
Sadly the first day I really attempted to capitalize on the yard was a bust. I got Noah all set up with a water table and toys and he was so excited making muddy messed. Ellie was still asleep and I went inside to get things done. Well, the shuttle Atlantis was landing that day and there was a HUGE sonic boom that sent Noah onto tears running inside. He then wouldn't go back out alone.

Not having a single comment on how wonderful my fence is made me depressed... So here is my one comment!
